If it is information and knowledge that people need, they need not attend these events: they just need to go to a search engine. Because people will most often focus on what they do not want, rather than what they do.
What is ‘supporting’? – ensuring people have what they need and supervising properly. What is ‘supervising’? – leading and managing and training. What is ‘training’? – assisting others to gain new skills and knowledge through teaching and advising. What is ‘advising’? – suggesting possible courses of action to achieve a given result based on your own experience, and perhaps through consulting. What is ‘consulting’? – helping people and teams by asking questions, and perhaps through mentoring an organization.
